If you told me a few years ago that I’d go from solving math proofs to building web apps with clients and designers, I probably would’ve laughed and thought:

That doesn’t sound very connected.

And yet, it makes perfect sense now, because both worlds, as different as they seem, have taught me lessons that I use every single day as a developer.

🧠 The Preparatory School Mindset

My two years in prepa were intense, yes, but also incredibly formative.
It wasn’t just about equations or physics formulas, it was about learning how to think, how to learn, and how to stay curious even when things get tough.

What I truly gained from that experience:

Method and structure → approaching every problem like a puzzle, step by step.
Discipline and consistency → success comes from daily effort, not last-minute luck.
Critical thinking → always questioning why something works, not just how.
Resilience → progress isn’t linear, and that’s okay.

Those habits didn’t disappear when I left the classroom, they became the foundation of how I approach technical challenges today.
When I debug, design an API, or build a new feature, I use the same mindset: analyze, test, refine, understand.

The prepa gave me the ability to learn deeply, and that’s probably the most valuable skill in tech.

💼 The Human Side of the Agency World

Then came the next chapter: joining BearStudio as an apprentice developer.
If the prepa trained my brain, the agency opened my world.

Here, every line of code has a purpose, it serves a user, a client, a team.
Projects are not just technical exercises, they’re stories built together.

What I discovered in agency life:

The joy of collaboration → working with designers, project managers, clients, and real users.
The art of communication → translating technical concepts into shared understanding.
The importance of iteration → testing, adapting, improving continuously.

Where the prepa taught me to master concepts, the agency taught me to connect them to real needs: turning knowledge into value.

🌉 When Logic Meets Empathy

There was a moment when everything clicked, not because I changed paths, but because I connected them.

In prepa, I learned to navigate complexity with logic and discipline.
During my internship, I learned that clarity only matters if it serves someone’s understanding.

And somewhere in between, I discovered what truly drives me:

Building things that make sense, both technically and humanly.

It’s not about choosing between reasoning and emotion, process and creativity, structure and empathy, it’s about letting them feed each other.

Today, that’s what defines how I work:
thinking deeply, coding thoughtfully, and never forgetting the people who will use what I build.

Because the real bridge between logic and empathy is curiosity, the desire to understand, whether it’s a problem, a system, or a person.

🚀 Finding Meaning in Both Worlds

Looking back, I’m grateful for both experiences.
The prepa built my foundations, the agency gave them direction.

They both demand curiosity, effort, and teamwork, just in different languages.
And when you learn to speak both, you start seeing connections everywhere.

So yes, going from preparatory school to a web agency might sound unexpected.
But for me, it’s the most natural journey I could have taken.
